In January 2002, a remarkable story began. Jonald Bouwhuis celebrated the launch of Bouwhuis Groep with a reception at Paleis Het Loo. The opening reception was also the first New Year’s reception. With Pim Fortuyn as guest speaker, the foundations were laid for a tradition with a character all its own.

What began there grew into the distinctive New Year’s receptions at Paleis Het Loo. As their initiator and host, Jonald Bouwhuis brought together the worlds of property, politics, finance and local government. A gathering where influential voices and personal connections came together against the impressive backdrop of the palace.

Twenty-five years later, these gatherings still bear his personal signature: style, hospitality and substance, with genuine attention to everyone who attends. Evenings when conversations open up new perspectives and encounters grow into lasting relationships.
